It has been a long time since I thoroughly enjoyed a game of catch and throw. My husband typically plays with our son since he plays baseball. I really wanted to try out the original djubi outdoor game I received so we headed to the park to test it out. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was! Djubi goes beyond catching and throwing – it definitely is a twist in the typical “catch and throw” games I played as a little girl.
Oour goal is to provide a quality, outrageously fun outdoor activity for kids, parents, and grandparents alike. Djubi is the name of the game and the ball used in the game. It’s pronounced joo-bee, and once you’ve played it, you’ll realize that you no longer have any excuse for sitting on the couch. Better yet, you won’t even want an excuse. You’ll be playing djubi.
Djubi comes with two racquets and two djubi launching balls. The racquets have a hook at the top that allows you to launch it to another player. The djubis can fly over 100 feet in the air. They go far! The other player can try to catch the ball in their mesh net. My son and I were able to launch it back and forth to one another. You can easily control how far you want to launch the djubi by stretching the elastic less.
We went to the beach for Memorial weekend and brought the djubi to play at the beach with some of the boys. I played for about 30 mins on the sand and water – let me just say that I woke up so sore the next morning. The djubi is a great workout! The running, jumping, catching, and falling(at least I did) really gives your body a workout. It felt great to play a game that was fun but actually gave my body some much needed exercise! Who needs the treadmill when you have a djubi!
