Board games have been part of family fun for many, many years. It makes them perfect for summer! There are days where the weather is dreary and you can’t relax by the beach or pool so why not have family game days? Games are not just for kids, adults can also join in on the fun. Great way to bond with the kids. Wonder Forge has family friendly games that feature characters your children will know and love, such as Frozen and Dr. Seuss.
In 2007, Jacobe Chrisman (Founder & CEO) and a small group of creative types with a passion for children’s entertainment came together to develop extraordinarily fun, original play experiences for kids and families.
Since its launch, Wonder Forge has consistently offered top-quality experiences, raising the bar for preschool and family games everywhere. The preschool titles celebrate the “can do” attitude in all kids—engaging them physically, socially, and creatively. The family games bridge generation gaps and create wholesome family moments and lasting memories.
Disney’s Frozen is all the rage these days and it is no surprise that my son could not wait to play Wonder Forge’s Disney Frozen memory game. The game features all your Disney Frozen characters: Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and so much more!
What little boy doesn’t love Marvel superheroes? Spiderman, the Hulk, and Ironman are just some of the super heroes included in the Match Game by Wonder Forge. My son enjoyed seeing some new superheroes he hadn’t seen before. It was nice that it also included female superheroes which makes it perfect for girls as well!
The Planes Sky Race game is interactive and gets kids on their feet. They are running around the house to the different markers to see who can get to the finish line first! The game comes with four gliders: Ishani, Chupacabra, Dusty, and Ripslinger. Each child can pick one of the four soft foam planes to play with. I really enjoyed playing this game with my son and we were all over the house!
Do you enjoy playing games with your children? I really enjoyed the bonding that these board games provided me and my son. Sometimes just taking 15-20 mins out of each day to show HIM attention really helps me see how his day is going. Sometimes life gets in the way but I want to be sure to take the time to cherish the little moments I have with him. Soon he’ll be a teenager and won’t want to hang with his mom. So right now, I’m going to cherish these moments and continue our family game nights. The matching games can also be played alone so if he ever wanted to continue for another round and I can’t – he can play on his own.
