disneyinfinity1Spending time with my family has always been important me. I know that my kids won’t be little forever and I want to cherish those memories. Doing things that are fun for them help create happy memories. We have family game night every week even if it is just devoting an hour. We like to play games, whether it is a board games or video games. With the release Disney Infinity 2.0, we had a fun game night as a family. We were all superheroes in the Marvel Universe.

disney_infinity2Disney infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes was released on Tuesday, September 23rd. My son has been “patiently” waiting for it. He is a typical boy that loves anything Marvel super hero. He is finally at the age where he can understand games better and can play on his own. He is actually pretty good at it. I am OK with video games as long as they are age appropriate and I always limit the time. My husband and I both enjoy playing video games. I remember playing the regular Nintendo and Gameboy when they came out years ago. Playing with my dad and my cousins are memories I cherish. When I see my son playing with his cousins I know that these are creating memories he will remember when he gets older. The joy and laughter they share when they win a match or beat one of the masters they’ve been working so hard on getting. My husband and I always encourage him not to give up and to keep trying his hardest when he says he can’t beat a level. I want him to remember that for everything he does.

disney_infinity3The Disney Infinity 2.0 game allows for two players so we’re able to play together. Some friendly competition! I’m a nice mommy and let him win every so often. Ha! The game has a variety of different ways to play and allows you to change into different characters. There are a lot of characters available from across the Disney universe. The starter kit does come with 3 characters – Iron man, Thor, and Black Widow. Now that me and my son got the opportunity to play the different characters we think we’re #InfinityHeroes.

What super hero are you excited to play in the Disney Infinity?

I’ve been wanting to get Disney Infinity for my daughter but wasn’t sure if it was too old for her. She has mastered playing Minecraft on the XBOX though! Do you think a 5 year old could play or wait another year? By the way, love the pics of you too spending time together playing!

Jessica, she may be ok to play if she plays Mineraft. My son played plenty of games when he was 5. He just turned 6 the end of July. He played Skylanders and the Mario games fine. She would probably enjoy it since there are a lot of characters she knows!
